About Us
Rock the Cradle offers clothing, accessories, and gifts as unique as your little one. We believe kids shouldn't be forced to wear a bunch of pastel colors or "funny" sayings involving poop. If babies and most toddlers don't care what they're wearing, why would you get a "Daddy's Li'l Princess" shirt when you'd much rather see her rocking a hip, modern design? Kids are a reflection of their parents and we think they should dress accordingly. We also think that fashion should be affordable (especially if that shirt is only going to fit for a few months.) You won't find any $40 onesies or $60 dresses here.
Owners Melissa and Brian Ball started Rock the Cradle with the thought, "when we have a baby, what kind of clothing would we want to get?" Most of the options available were too cutesy or too expensive. Believing there were other like-minded parents and parents-to-be, Melissa and Brian decided to open up shop in order to bring fun, fresh styles with reasonable prices to the masses. With the birth of their daughter, Madeline, in September 2009, they now have a styling kid with attitude of their own.
